Dr. ILonka Rus-Edery
A little about me
Dr. Ilonka Rus-Edery is the Director of the Keyboard Studies and Associate Professor of Piano at Sam Houston State University. She holds a bachelor degree in piano performance from Oberlin Conservatory, a Masters in Piano Accompanying and Chamber Music from University of Houston, an Artist Diploma in Piano Performance from Texas Christian University and a Doctoral degree in Piano with emphasis in piano collaborative and a minor in organ from University of Houston.
As a teacher and clinician Dr. Rus-Edery continues to teach piano solo and chamber music master classes in Romania, Mexico, Colombia and United States. Dr. Rus-Edery has presented, and adjudicated at numerous conferences such as Texas Music Teachers Association and Music Teachers National Association.
