I believe that making music can be joyous for everyone – from the naturally talented to the recreational musician. Children ought to be able to play on baseball teams, be in plays, and still call themselves a singer or pianist. Adults should be able to revisit and grow their musical abilities too.

My career, for-profit and volunteer, has spent the last 18 years in education and music. The previous 10 years were in the computer networking field. Except for the last 3 years, I have spent the 20 years prior participating in Christian rock bands, playing keys, singing and playing bass.

For 7 years, I was one of 3-4 directors of a 60-80 person family chorus. I am also a paid accompanist for local junior and senior high schools and I was the musical director for 2 segments that performed on Broadway in NYC this past summer.
